An update on my miniatures.

Hello everybody! As life has gotten to me I couldn't find the time to report back on my games... I still do, however, play guild ball! And I still work on my mini's.  Not as a pro painter, but I at least get to work on them now and again... Let's take a look shall we? Masons Currently on my table are two Masons; Mr.  Hammer and Tower Alchemists Finished now (but forgot to take a picture after the rim of the base was 'blackened') are 2 Alchemists (well, 1,5) Since our beloved Compound plays for Engineers too.  A Guild I should paint up this year, hopefully... Venin:  And Compound: (The Orange/Blue is going to be my Engineers team !)   Fishermen: I also did 2 fishmongers: Veteran Siren and Hag! Vet Siren:   Hag:  So that'll be all for now...  Hope to find time again soon...  To work on my next video...  Me playing fishe...

Games 55 - 56

Hello Guild Ballers! Welcome to what I hope will be the last 2 games without much detail! I played on the clock against Tom Lacore, our new pundit.  I brought my camera hoping to film the games, saving me some brain-muscle-exercises, but Tom wasn't sure he wanted to hit the world wide web.  So I didn't film and now I can't remember what happened ... For our first game he wanted to beat me desperatly and I wasn't about to let that happen, but it did... Game 55: Brewers Vs Engineers 6-12 (6-8 then I clocked out and failed to make it more than that.) He played a Pin-Vise team and wanted to play against Esters. I believe I had 3 take-outs and had to swallow 3 goals.  I did attempt to go for a goal, but didn't even get to kick.  Engineers were cutting off every player creeping up within range to shoot.  Then after I was clocked out I was setting up for another goal with my first activation (6-9) His player blocked any attempt to make that succesful so I had ...

Game 53 and a demo for number 54.

Hello Guild Ballers! Welcome back to my blog and bare with me for 4 more games, 2 of them will be mentioned here...  I took pictures of game 53 against Tom Lacore our new pundit in Gent.  He wanted to get punished by Tapper again and that is indeed what happened.  I opted to give another union player a go in the name of Harry the Hat.  I did like him, especially with rising anger, but I only got momentum from it twice.  I don't remember specifics about the game other than it was a very close game.  I also got some fragments back from looking at the picture below: In the above picture you can see I was farming momentum off Collosus, softening him up with Friday and getting Momentum with Harry.  I believe it is ratchet you see up there attempting to split us up. Below that group you can see Spigot in some rubble.  It was put there to prevent him from getting to Ballista.  But good ol' Spigot has his heroic to annul that, and was lucky en...

Game 43 - Season 3 Engineers putting arrows in my brewers.

Hello Guild Ballers!   It's Bob here and I'm back with another Guild Ball Game! Today I'll be covering my game against Tom Lacore who piloted his Engineers against me using S3-rules for the first time. I had some adjustments made to my way of thinking before heading over to the venue in the form of 4 brews of my favourite golden liquor. (Duvel) So some memories are blanked out and had to be filled in with possible truths. I am in no way trying to mislead you guys by making stuff up on purpose, but as I had the memory of a goldfish that night I can't promise my recital will be 100% acurate. (Is it ever though) I tell myself you all come here for the entertaintment first anyway so here goes:  The Line-up: As per usual I fielded a brewers team and this is my line up:  Esters - Quaff - Mash - Spigot - Stoker - Friday = a 13 INF team. My general Idea was to put Mash up in front (as a first goal threat and snap shot machine) protected by Est...

Game 41: a walk in the parc with Esters.

Hello Guild Ballers, We're back with a game report and what a game it has been...  In length, in suspence, ... an awesome game overall.  I can only hope you enjoy this read as much as I enjoyed playing this out. Oh on a side note, before you begin: The title is not doing the game any justice and is only there to get on Tom's tits. (Luv ya, Tom!)  The struggle was real and my buttocks were clenched tight, I pitty the Flint looking for penetration during this game. (Or at any other time, really.  I'm straight as an arrow but I'm looking at things from Flint's perspective and normally I'm all for tightness...  Allas there's a thing as 'to tight') Preparation: Having painted up Quaff I was keen on using him.  I also wanted to give Esters another go so Esters and Quaff were 'auto include' into my line-up.  Knowing I was up against Engineers I was reluctant to put Stave in my list, but the only FB suggestion I got included Stave ...

Game 7 - Brewers VS Engineers – tournament rules in effect for Take a Breather lad

Game 7 Hello Guild Ballers, As a last game before the tournament on Sunday 24/04/2016 I played yet again against Tom with his Engineers. Here’s my line-up: Tapper – Scum – Hooper – Spigot – Friday – Stave Tom’s line-up: Ballista – Mainspring – Ratchet – Salvo – Velocity - Colossus -Again no notes- Game summary: Brewers kicked of with Stave and put Friday and Spigot at the front, looking to tackle the ball away from Velocity in turn 2.   Ballista made the error of charging Friday enabling Stave to barrel him into the Brewers grinding machine.   All the models were in the center of the field having fun… (well mine were). Turn 2 goes to the engineers, but Tom fails to find a momentum-point for Velocity to score with.   So sad.   Friday goes in and manages to tackle the ball away, but is to far out for a goal-kick.   She throws some dirty knifes at Colossus, only to get her shins smashed and getting knocked down in response .  ...
