Painting up Brick

Image
Hello Guild Ballers! As you know I am not the best painter out there. I bought Nobby's Masons AGES ago and tried to match Brick to the color scheme. Nobby's work: They came with some union, but I did not add them into the picture. (Minx, Decimate & Snakeskin) My Work on Brick: And finished next to one of Nobby's for comparison:  That's all folks! Game 43 - Season 3 Engineers putting arrows in my brewers.

Hello Guild Ballers!   It's Bob here and I'm back with another Guild Ball Game! Today I'll be covering my game against Tom Lacore who piloted his Engineers against me using S3-rules for the first time. I had some adjustments made to my way of thinking before heading over to the venue in the form of 4 brews of my favourite golden liquor. (Duvel) So some memories are blanked out and had to be filled in with possible truths. I am in no way trying to mislead you guys by making stuff up on purpose, but as I had the memory of a goldfish that night I can't promise my recital will be 100% acurate. (Is it ever though) I tell myself you all come here for the entertaintment first anyway so here goes:  The Line-up: As per usual I fielded a brewers team and this is my line up:  Esters - Quaff - Mash - Spigot - Stoker - Friday = a 13 INF team. My general Idea was to put Mash up in front (as a first goal threat and snap shot machine) protected by Esters

My Guild Ball collection so Far...

Hello Guild Ballers. Just a short update while I'm cleaning out my Guild Ball Baggs and sorting out my stuff... Some cards are missing in the picture but that's ok with Season 3 I needed new ones anyway...  Last time I buy them though I think. Also Mist was forgotten on my painting table.  So he's not on there. That's all I wanted to share today! Bob Out!

Painting up a new team: Morticians - Dirge

Image
Hello Guild Ballers! This is my third piece for the morticians team! Dirge the bird! The Yellow went  on the claws and beak...  Hope you like it. I went for a light grey wash on the post, darkened up the metal plating.  Added some metal look to the chain.  Gave the skull some dark eyes and a white coat. Glued the bird on after going for a yellow morticians sign. The bird at that point got a light grey coat on the underside and a slightly darker tint on the top side.  I went a lighter towards the head.  Gave the claws and beak the yellow.  After that I briefly touched the outer edges of the wings with some black.  Touched the top with some leadbelcher (GW Color) and came back in with a wash over the entire model. Here's the result: I still have to come back in and do the base.  But I have no idea as of yet how I'm going to do that.  So hang in there! See you soon! Updated Pictures:
