Meet Beast, the wildest of the Hunters
Hello Guild Ballers,
Since I missed my game of guild ball this week I figured I'd come up with a new player of sorts. Didn't want to keep you waiting for a new post on my blog for too long *wink*.
So I've been wanting for a player that has more interaction with the animals in Guild Ball. It felt only natural to put him into the Hunter line-up. Here is what I came up with:
MOV: 7/9
TAC: 5
KICK: 1/6
DEF:5
ARM:0
INF: 1/4
Character Play
Goad Cost: 1 - Range: 6”
While this model is on the Pitch, the target enemy model can only move directly towards this model during an Advance.
Gut & String Cost: GB - Range: P
Target enemy model suffers [-4”/-4”] MOV and [-1] DEF.
Skinned alive: Cost GBGB - Range: P
Target enemy model suffers 2 DMG, the bleed condition and the Snared condition. If this model inflicts the taken-out condition using this Character Play this model gains [+1/+0] INF for the remainder of the game.
Character Traits
Charmed [Animal]
This model gains [+1] DEF against each Attack or Character Play made against it by the named model type.
Smells good [4" Aura] - [Animal]
Enemy models of the named type within the Aura suffer [-1] TAC against this model and can only reposition or advance towards this model.
Foul Odour [ 3” Aura ]
Other models within the aura treat open–ground as rough–ground.
Anatomical Precision
During an Attack from this model enemy models suffer [-1] ARM.
Heroic Play
Now you see me, now you don't.
This model may make a dodge up to his MAX Move stat and is camouflaged until his next activation. This model can't end this reposition engaging an enemy model.
*Camouflage: Enemy models can't draw LOS to this model until it moves. AOE effects that would hit this model cost 1 extra INF without adding the extra dice to the dice pool.
Chaska shrugged, and casually threw his look in the direction of Beast. "To be frank, Hearne, he found me. I was sleeping, fire still lit to keep the beasts away, as we do. So you can imagine my surprise when I saw something sitting by my fire eating the rest of my rabit. At first I thought it was an animal, so I reached for my boom box to give it some lead and maybe eat it after. But as soon as my arm started gliding over to where my gun was the thing was on top of me, still chewing on a rabitsfoot, bone sticking out of his mouth like a cigar butt making perfect circles in the air as he talked to me: 'I mean no harm, only hungry.' And that's all he said to me! Incredible how fast he was! Both feet on my bicpes putting his weight on them so my arms couldn't move and a knife at my throat. I didn't notice the smell, I must have stopped breathing when he was on top of me. What I found most disturbing is the glint in his eyes when he peered into mine. As if a red light was glowing in there. I'm surprised he knows how to talk."
Hearne turned away from Beast and nodded in the direction of Therons hut, suggesting Chaska to follow him inside.
The door to Therons hut closed and shortly after a loud voice bellowed: "You found him?! You found the son of the Moon Goddess??" Stumbling could be heard and the door cracked open with a blast freezing the time for an instant as Theron stepped out and seemed the only one not affected by this pauze. "Where is he?!" Bellowed Theron, looking from left to right and back.
A voice above his head answered, it was Beast who was crouched on the rooftop of Therons hut. "I am here, and who is it that calls me son of the Moon Goddess? I have not been named that in over 10 years."

"Eew!! What's that smell?!" Hearne turned on the spot, nose all wrinkled up. He was following the scent and gazed into a heap of rags. All worn-out fur, patched up with no heed for fashion. Pieces of wolf, rabit, deer, snake, some unrecognizable beasts even... All roughly stitched together in a cloak of sorts. Under the hood two sky blue eyes flashed left and right. If not for the eyes constantly moving about you would think there was no man in that heap of stinking clothes.Meet Beast, the wildest of the Hunters:
