Meet Ramble, a brewers Captain
Hello Guild Ballers!!
Today I've dreamt up a new captain for the brewers team, but lets get into the fluf first!
"So you liked that story did ya?" Greyscales asked the new rookie.
"Well yes, it was entertaining and funny... Why? Didn't it really happen?" replied the rookie. Greyscales grinned: "I'm not saying that, kid... It might well have happened... Look at the crowd. They're all like you. Clinging onto his lips waiting for the next words to come out to engorge them like delicious honey sweets. He can tell a tale that one. So much so he'd be able to make two stones fight eachother."
The rookie sat there baffled, not knowing what Greyscales was trying to instruct here. The frown on his forehead gave away the puzzlement he was in. Greyscales breath out was a loud one. "I'm saying not to go take a liking to the man. He'll have you fight for him before you know it. This one they call Ramble never lifted a finger to hurt anybody yet, but the motivational speeches he gives abet the most passive conscientious objector. I loathe his forked tongue, but let's be quiet now, he's starting one of his tales and I want to hear..."

"I don't understand," Said the Rookie turning to Greyscales: "Isn't Spigot one of his teammates?" Greyscales shrugged: "Yeah, they used to be drinking buddies. But ever since Spigot sobered up the love between them has been lost. Guess old Ramble there doesn't like it when somebody else get's a bit of attention. Nowadays he blames Spigot for everything going wrong on, and sometimes off, the pitch! Oh, how I long for the days when we all were rookies like you..." Greyscales stares into the distance and mumbles more to himself than to the rookie: "The legendary plays we pulled of on the pitch then! Spigot would pass to Ramble, both of them could then dodge forward and pass the ball between them. It's like they had a link between them. Charge one, the ball was on the other, move to the other, and he'd have dropped the ball back... You had to keep em apart those two... Brewers used to be more football oriented then, guess the boose got the better of them and dumbed the talent! Not like us fishermen!! Oh no... Corsair and me were much like them back in the day... But those damned butchers fixed that didn't they..." A glimmer of hatred shone through in Greyscales eyes as he picked up his tankard and drained it as if he was a brewer-player.
That's all folks!
Hope you enjoyed!
See you next time!
Bob Out.
