Inter Guild Face Off

Hello Guild Ballers

My local gaming community organised a tournament of sorts.  The final is to be played tomorrow and it's a Masons Mirror Match.

To keep things interesting both players agreed they would set up a team where neither coach fields the same players as the other team.

Hence the idea of a new way of playing mirror matches: "The Inter Guild Face Off" allas only useable where there are (at least) 2 captains available.

This is how it works:

  1. Both coaches roll a D6, whoever rolls highest gets to pick what captain to field. (as of now that will be player A)  - The other coach gets to take the other captain. (and will be reffered to as player B.)
  2. Player B then gets to pick the mascot he wants to use with his captain. - Player A picks the left over.
  3. Player A may select any in-guild player of his choosing.
  4. Player B may select any 2 in-guild players of his choosing.
  5. Player A may then select any 2 in guild players of his choosing that are still left.
  6. Player B can then select his last two players including valid choices for his team outside of the guild.
  7. Player A selects his last player including valid choices for his team outside of the guild.

     - - -  From here on you could opt to reroll again and play normal rules - - -
  8. Player A picks a side to field his team on and decides who will be on the receiving end of the ball.  After that it's game on!!
For good measure: players with the same name can only be fielded once.  Whomever picks a player that has more versions gets to pick what version of said player to field. (in this case ogHarmony or vHarmony)

I hope to have a brewers game like this in the future!

That's it for today folks!
Hold on to your hats!  There is a match report coming this week, just not yet!
Patience my friends!  Patience!!
